Mais Al poses as a State Department official to find out how Fong Sing, uncle of the Crown Prince, plans to discredit the United States. Meanwhile, Al passes the time gambling with the prince, and teaches him the finer points of losing. Al discovers that Fong Sing has switched the idol that represents the prince's power with a fake, and plans to blame the U.S. for its theft, so Al must switch the fake back for the original, without his knowing.
