Mais Caroline and Vivienne try to cover-up Brian's murder, thinking the police will never believe it was self defence, and make it look like a burglary. Vivienne is guilt-ridden, especially when she learns Brian had a large life insurance policy. When the cops question them again, Vivienne confesses. Caroline admits to the murder in self-defence, but the police say she will find it hard to prove. The screws wonder how a prisoner got into the staff room to return Vera's radio, and decide there must be a key on the loose. Erica, though, correctly suspects Lizzie of being responsible and drops the matter, even after Paul owns up to returning it. Tony Reid is in trouble when the police raid a friend's house while they are getting a delivery from drug dealer Sharon Gilmour. Doreen has trouble juggling her past and her present, unwilling to tell Kevin where she lives.
