After Elliot wrestles with him, Joe flees. Rita tells Elliot not to call the police and admits that Norman has already threatened to kill him. Norman arrives at Ada's Tavern and shortly thereafter, Elliot brings Rita in. A frightened Rita dismisses Norman's fears that something has happened, while Elliot privately describes the incident to Ada. As the storm arrives, Constance discovers that her phone is dead. David drops by Connie's house and has a strange conversation with her about how fond he is of Allison. Doris and Allison are trapped at the ice-cream shop while the storm rages.
