During his absence, the Takeda clan was severely defeated by Murakami and Sanada, the very person who caused the defeat, is under fire from the retainers of the Takeda clan. For Sanada to wipe the disgrace and survive, he must succeed in capturing the impregnable Toishi Castle. Kansuke initiates Sanada a secret plan—to persuade Takanaga Tokita, Sanada's younger brother who presently serves under Murakami, to become a retainer of the Takeda clan.
