The city streets are crowded with people flocking with beating drums and revelry. Kumar family is also on the streets to witness the first day of sthapna. Ajay is with his friend Aanya and her family is moving through the crowds, as Ajay notices a stranger in a festive mask in the crowd, he notices the engraved ring the stranger is wearing in his hand, as the masked man draws near Aanya much to the charge in of Ajay. Before he can do anything, the masked man pulls Aanya as Ajay tries to rush though the crowd. However, by the time he gets to the spot, he realizes that Aanya is nowhere to be seen.
