Defenseless against the queerats, the children flee with Saki and her friend Satoru being separated from the others and captured by them. After escaping confinement, the pair is rescued by Squealer a queerat from another tribe who brings them before his queen and ask for their help against their rivals who threaten to ravage their colony. Saki and Satoru does not reveal to them that their powers are sealed, and flee by themselves when the invasion begins.
