She tries to open it, but in vain. Meanwhile, the electricity goes off. Shlok panics on learning that the hotel staff have gone out for Ganesh visarjan and they will return only the next morning. Shlok asks Astha to wear the saree which he has brought to offer their family goddess. The hot wax of the candle falls on Shlok's hand and Astha tends to him. An infuriated Shlok yells at Astha for the same.
