Maxim Orlov is an experienced detective who, for several years, has been unsuccessfully trying to catch a violent criminal named Paper Killer. During one of the operations, he suffers from a severe head injury and falls into a coma for more than 20 years. When he wakes up, he is already in another country, with other people. His whole life has changed: his colleagues at work have grown old, his girlfriend is married to another and the paper killer is still at liberty...
