I was recently tagged and had sent a clip from an interview with Dr. Karan Rajan seemingly bad-mouth... Mais I was recently tagged and had sent a clip from an interview with Dr. Karan Rajan seemingly bad-mouthing chest compressions. Folks in my DMs and in my comments know how strongly I advocate for CPR, and they were eager to watch me attack this clip and fact-check Dr. Rajan. The thing is... I can't, because nothing he said was incorrect. That doesn't mean I'm not without my outrage though, as I believe this experience is emblematic of TikTok outrage culture and my core issues with that platform: the algorithm and audience is designed to highlight anger, divisiveness, and is breeding a culture I'm not enjoying being a part of. This has led me to wonder... should I stay?
