The criminal organization known as CRIME has begun using robots in their attacks. Interpol decides to create a special taskforce known as JAKQ to deal with this menace. Unlike Goranger, these members are selected individuals from the outside: An Olympic athlete, a boxer, a police detective, and an initially dead oceanographer. Each is outfitted with mechanical parts, turning them into cyborgs, each with their own “area of expertise” in order to combat CRIME.
