Pino wants to teach him a lesson, but Ciro seems to have something else in mind for Chiattillo. Pino gets jealous of Ciro's attentions towards Filippo and this alarms him. Philip takes the bait thrown by Ciro and accepts his protection. Carmine warns him: the friendship that Ciro is offering him is called "belonging to the system": one is indebted for every favor received. Carmine is right and in fact Ciro asks Filippo for proof of courage to obtain his protection. Gemma enters the feminine and Viola begins to circumvent her with her manipulative art. After all, what is better for a victim like Gemma than a ruthless executioner like Viola?
