Three young men who come from very different homes happen to meet and find themselves bound by the common characteristic of having a father with whom they cannot relate. The three of them decide to rebel against their fathers and finally set out on their own to study in Los Angeles. As soon as they arrive in L.A., they discover that the school is already out of business, and that they have been duped by a con-artist. The boys now have no money and must decide if they will swallow their pride and crawl back to their fathers, or find work and stick it out on their own.
