Desaleen, who admits she was also drinking, captured the horrifying ordeal on video, from the passenger seat. See the dramatic footage, and hear Desaleen's account of that night. She says her physical injuries healed quickly, but her emotional scars are still very raw. She confides that since the accident, she’s been angry and oftentimes reckless with her behavior, including going out partying for days — leaving others to care for her 6-month-old son — and even getting into cars with people who have been drinking.
