Mais Harvey is devastated to see his mother in the direct brain access chair having been "processed", while HyperBrain bluntly drops unsubtle hints about the need for more intellectual brains. Eventually Dinah meets Hyperbrain who agrees to swap her mother's mind for her own in Hyperbrain's bank - until the Headmaster intervenes. An outside plan succeeds to terminate Hyperbrain but has unintentional consequences for the Headmaster.
