Ever have one of those days when you can't win for losing? Well Charles is having one of those ... Mais Ever have one of those days when you can't win for losing? Well Charles is having one of those days and it's turning into a week. First he suggests that Jamie be allowed to get a job so she can support her taste in expensive clothes, but Mrs. Powell isn't very happy with her choice, and neither is Charles. Jamie has selected waitressing at Sid's Pizza Parlor as her initiation into the working world and Charles has to play big-brother chaperon even while trying to make time with a new girlfriend in his favorite hangout. As if that weren't enough, Lillian, Charles' mom, is still in town, and doesn't seem anxious to go home. With that kind of pressure Charles has to wonder who's really running things, especially when he's hit by a whopping surprise that leaves him (and us) wondering how it will change his life...and what he'll do about it.
