She asks Cheryl to question Pete. When she does so, Pete tells her that Eileen left after he'd gone to bed. She noticed the scratches on his hand which he dismissed as a hazard of the job. Dave had an MS attack due to the stress brought on by Jake's disappearance. Myra Costello (Kate Williams), Gary's mum, arrives a day early to find that her son's new home was a little bit different from the last one. We learn that they haven't even told her that they don't have any money - they say that the reason their new house is so much smaller is due to outragous house prices in London. Sean got the all clear on his HIV test.
