Mais Animal expert Ben is in the Animal Sanctuary with a beautiful Blue Winged Kookaburra, to show Emma and Kaeng how kookaburras communicate and eat. It is four o'clock on the Hickory Dickory clock, with a nest of speckled eggs underneath. Emma reads 'Chirp' by Mary Murphy. Kaeng makes a nest for three little feather bird chicks, and sings 'I have made a little nest'. He makes a mother bird out of a paper plate. The mother bird collects pipe cleaner worms. Maralma demonstrates how she paints her totem animal the emu. Through the round window we meet Emmett and his blue budgerigar Jerry. Kaeng goes bird spotting with Jemima, trying to find a bowerbird. They find Emma pretending to be a lyrebird, white ibis and finally a bowerbird.
