Mais Carrie falls in love with and accepts the marriage proposal of an international playboy who unbeknownst to his finacee is actually a con-man. He has no money of his own and can only maintain his lifestyle by operating as an infamous jewel thief known only as The White Tiger. Now he's preying on Carrie by planning to marry her, then kill off Dan, Art, and Cody, so she can become queen. The others catch on to his scheme and try to warn Carrie, but she refuses to see the truth and decides to withdrawal from the quest.
